Yup, I agree 100%
All these people are loving DAAM just cause Lynch finally is rappin violent again but the shit just does not sound the same. It sounds forced, as if he is just doing it because that is what people have been asking for for so many years. It sounds more for shock value nowadays than before. Before it was some real ass talent which just happened to include violent lyrics on many songs.
^^^THIS
His lyrics on Season and Loaded have substance. DAAM sounds like he put it together lyrically in a week and I have no idea which direction it's going. His old music had a thought that would last through the whole song. Since Lynch by Inch he can't hold a complete thought together. His voice doesn't even sound clear and dominant like it used to. He keeps slurring.
His music had rhythm and his flow was on point to the instrumental. Here's a little verse from Refuse to Lose. I haven't heard anything in the past ten years that could hold a flashlight to this. It sucks cause Lynch is capable of so much.
All dome as the chronics got me gone
Nigga it's on
On 'til the slugs come out
(D-Dub)
At night I do my murder red rum so tight
(Lynch)
I'ts the third strike nigga
So now I'm aiming up at your dome
'Bout to watch your brain split and hit the Fleetwood Brome
I'm like Richard Chase, mixed with Al Capone
If you want some ripgut shit nigga
Yeah, I got it sewn
So bone to the crib, or get your wig split fool, with the tech chrome
And say the alphabet backwards fast or find you a brand new dome
A criminal minded nigga that gots tefs in his nine
So head to the East side, 'cause it's red rum time
