fuck the yankees, foreal though this shit is a manopoly now man foreal, they buy championships while other teams can bearly afford one player. honestly MLB should do something about this. I wonder who the yankees r gone get in the off season?

I do agree that their should be some sort of cap but then the owners, execs, etc of the teams just get richer and richer which isn't fair to those who actually play the sport. If some sort of cap is put in place it should be used to give back to the fans by cheaper ticket prices, better stadiums for teams that can't afford them, more money towards teams farm systems, etc.

If you put a cap on baseball that leaves A LOT of money floating around that will just go to the already rich owners, execs, etc. Caps are a far trickier subject then they would seem to be.

Don't cry when they win number 27 right now though hahaha. I think my roommate is about to have a heart attack.

I agree with you, it's just dumb how every MLB team does not have an equal chance of atleast going to a playoff game, let alone having a winning record because of money. Year in and year out we scratch our heads wondering what all star player the yankees are going to buy. Just look at the Marlins,Reds,Nationals,Pirates....and a lot more who can't even compete because we got the Yankees and yes Boston Red Sox taking over MLB year in and year out
