and I gotta say... besides the 2 interceptions... Russel played much better today

60% and over 200 yards... he didn't play lights out... but he had a solid game

I wasn't able to watch the whole game because I was watching on redzone... but from what I saw he had much better pocket presence... he made some good decisions... and seemed aware when the Eagles defenders were rushing him

now he still has to prove himself and play this way consistently

but I'm not giving up on him like I was before

I read somewhere that one of the interceptions was caused by Murphy. They say the ball hit Murphy's hands and it deflected right into Samuels hands. It was a catchable ball they say and shouldn't have been picked off. Good to see JR step up...

yeah, I saw that one happen watching redzone

it did bounce of Murphy's hands, Murphy was surrounded by like 3 defenders

it looked like it was thrown pretty quick... and kinda hard to catch

JR needs to work on his touch, but at the same time... when it hits the receivers hands they should usually catch it
