I feel, weed highs are subjective anyway. Be on the look out for that gorilla glue #4 it's an up and coming dank strain.
Man fuck all these damn names I dont care anymore, as long as its some kind of OG or Diesel im good. Everything else can go in the dumpster for all I care. Though I do miss that old school skunk weed I used to get when I was a kid, I haven't seen a good skunk strain in probably 15 years. And if someone offers me Blue Dream again I swear I'm gonna smack them in their damn face. Blue Dream is some straight bull shit, I'd only use it for wax. I fucking hate that shit strain.
And I've never heard anyone ever say they didn't like cookies, that shit sells like crack rocks around here, and if youre getting some "lil sour diesel" plug it should be putting that shit to shame. Just saying.

- trainwreck used to be one of my favorites but the decrease in quality ive noticed with it is probably the worst of all strains... I noticed it getting worse and worse, and last time i got that was in like 09 it was some club weed that they were still selling at not tip-top dollar but it was still up there like not their primo but still higher end shit... And when we busted it out at home took a closer look and it was like almost dried out and we noticed in the sunlight it had a wierd color... And it didnt even look like i remember it back in the day, the buds didnt have that lumpy rippelly look that i remember... We went to roll it and it had hella seeds in it, smoked the blunt and it didnt even taste right or anything. So yea i had to stop buying it
And yea, the weed that rappers rap about are popular for a reason, im just sayin everybodys different and you should get whatever weed sounds good to you... When everybody follows what weed is popular with rappers, then you get it like u said: niggas only want the og and wouldnt even consider other top-flight shit like champagne... Not sayin ur boy wasnt up on game about other strains, he prolly been knowin about all of that but just wanted whats guaranteed to sell...

trianwreck USED TO BE THAT FIRE. man i remember i used to only run into is around xmas. before i knew the name i called it 'christmas tree' because it smelled just like a xmas tree, that citrusy kinda smell. tasted so fuckin good. then they started growing for yields and not neessarily taking care of it and it ended up in the 10-8.00 a gram category. shit was sad, it would just be wack outdoor bags and just trash all around. ruined one of my favs.

blue dream is some garbo now a days. however theres some crosses with bue dream that have been sick. i wanted to do a UK cheese x blue dream nd name is blue cheese, i think someone already did it tho.
everything i get isnt hydro,some is soil some is grown different ways. i know so many growers living up in the east bay its ridiculus. id be growing if i had the extra space. i know lots of different growers and a good amount of growers in ukiah and Humboldt...some love growing in soil outdoors. but their shit goes for less than all this designer shit comin out of indoors. thats where ole dude who was responding to me dosent get, its not just all hydro. i know a fuck load of growers and everyone has their own technique which they technically dont share. all i know is anything stamped with my name on it or that comes from my hand is A++ and i never fuck with bootsy shit. got IG's and pictures to prove all that. people who fuck with me know i only keep the best shit this side of the east bay.
@mouth_my_nuts hows the cherry lime aid? i still need some of the recent cuts of Y (its been looking waay better_ and that nuwave. if you ever have some extra or a few samples link up with me id be forever grateful. i also need that chemscout. shoulda caught up with glide man i was in the same spot as him shit was just mad busy tho. coulda grabbed some then.
might be in frisco tomorrow tho. ima see if i can get a few small sample packs of those. i just want to give it the taste test honestly. been around hella weed.

I take it I'm "ole dude"? Dunno if you read what I said wrong, or if I said it poorly, but the point I was trying to make is that, all things being equal except for growing medium, soil grown weed is usually vastly superior smoke. I didn't think this was a controversial opinion. But like I also said, disagreement is cool, we all have different points of view.
yeah i think 'vastly superior smoke' is in the lungs of the beholder. we could talk about that one all day, i guess thats where theres cannabis cups. also depends on what you want out of your product.
me personally, after smoking so long, i just know whats good and whats not. thats what matters. leave the growing process to the person making it. but once thats all said and done, superior weed is superior weed regardless of its growing medium.
like im not gonna look at some sunset sherbert or some SFV OG x white fire OG and go 'is this from soil? no? fuck that shit!"
as long as my shit looks right, smels right, tastes right, and gets me high how i want to, you can grow however you please. now if i was doing it myself, id do a mix between organics and indoors w rockwool and a few other things. because i like variety. like i said more up to the skill set of said grower. its not one medium over anything if that person dosent have their bars up.

really less of a disagreement and more of the fact that variety is the spice of life. its like arguing over playstations and xbox's to me. far too much weed out there thats A+ and very little room to argue over loud.
