#1 - Walter Payton - This dude was 5'10 and 200 pounds but he ran like a fullback. His stiff arm was brutal and he'd lower the shoulder and run right over fools. Noboby ever had such a work ethic or trained as hard as he did and he only missed 1 game in his 13 year career. He just had so much passion for the game.
#2 - Barry Sanders - Had he not been a pussy and quit, he would have been no. 1 no doubt. But he was THE most entertaining football player Ive ever seen.
#3 - Gale Sayers - When you watch film of this guy run, your jaw will drop. He almost had a Barry Sanders like style. Had it not been for injuries, he could've very well have the rushing record. He also holds the NFL record for highest kickoff return average at 30.56 yards per return.
