Lets see who ends up with the most wins at the end of the season, then u can continue on!! LOL at u guys goin on w/your war stories.....fa real, your team is nyce and all, just seems like an odd mix
Ok, but until then, think about this before you just run about a bunch of bullshit

Blazers 41-41 in the West

Pacers 36-46 IN THE EAST!!!

Do you really think gettin rid of O'Neal and adding Ford, Rush and Jack is gonna make you better than a team who was already better than the Pacers but is now adding Oden, Bayless and Fernandez?

I'm just saying we are way better off without Jermaine. All he did was take up space on the bench with his injuries. With the cap room we made getting rid of him, we can make even more trade moves in the future. Pacers are back on the rise.

Tinsley will be gone soon, and now that Jermaine is gone, we can have a positive attitude again and not be looked at as the Bengals of the NBA with all the suspensions and arrests on our roster.

This trade made the Pacers a much better team, they still don't have a dominant big man, but they've been missing one since Rik Smits retired, and imo he wasn't even that great. All the centers they have had since then have been undersized and terrible.

and as a blazer fan, and being through some of the same bullshit I can understand where you are coming from, even tho gettin rid of o'neal probably makes you a worse team(wins loses wise) and same with this trade really not being in your favor(the one they did with us the blazers) but are a much better team for the community to get behind and support

In the long run, yeah, you're better off, but this coming season is a different story. I have a feeling its officially tank season in Indiana unless Bird got somethin drastic cooked up for July 1st.

The way the pieces have been moving so far I want to believe that there will be another trade made before the deadline. I would have to think that with all of the guard depth that was picked up Bird plans on trading away for a dominant big man.

I know losing Jermaine will affect the record since he was an all-star player key word "was", but I think they will play as a better unit now, and hopefully that will translate into wins.

I don't follow the West at all, so I really don't have anything to say either for or against the blazers. I just hope that Jack can perform the way they expected him to back when he was drafted to the Blazers, so far he hasn't performed as good as he was hyped to be.

i'm hoping this piece of the article on the Pacers site has an answer.

"Given Bird's aggressive approach to roster revision and culture change, the Pacers may not be done dealing."
"We feel we made some strides," he said. "We're not there yet. We've got a lot of work to do. But hopefully some of the things we did tonight will get us in the right direction."

I think Tinsley, Harrison, and Foster will be dealt.

Basically any center out there is better than Foster, so maybe I should rephrase it as a more dominant big man than they have... as in a center, not waste our time with another lousy pf(Jermaine Oneal)

Maybe we can get Elton Brand I think he is a free agent coming off of surgery though.
