because he got signed to shady i finally gave this guy a listen and he's pretty good IMO. he would prolly be amazing if i was from down where he's rapping about but im not so icant relate to much of the things he raps about. i acknowledge his skills and most of all his flow, most white rappers usually fall off or never get on cause they cant flow to a beat to shit and yela makes it seem effortless. and ALL his hooks get caught in my head.

He's more comparable to Twista than to Yela. But then again, I've never liked Twista, so my argument doesn't hold much weight.

I'm really impressed with Yelawolf. His tone of voice and delivery are just very innovative. Pop The Trunk is so eerie and the video complements the song almost perfectly. The bass is sick which was interestingly alluded to by the title.

His collab on Big Boi's album is where I first heard him. At the time I thought it was a black guy. Anyways the guy is a badass hillbilly as another poster said and I'm rooting for him.

well maybe not fall off but all these good white rappers that people mention i can never get into cause they never got a nice flow. IMO it's rare to have a white rapper with a good flow. my opinion though, not trying to preach

I would love to hear Tech and Yela on a track together - I think shit would be hella dope for real. Now that Yela's signed to Shady Records, a whole lot more people are gonna be paying attention to him. I actually like dude's style and music. I just hope he doesn't change up a whole lot now that he's with Em.
