That's your worst??

That wasn't THAT bad...compared to this, at least.

This song sort of has a novelty appeal for me. Its so bad that I dont mind if it comes up on a play list.

this is my new fav song. it has nothing to do with this thread

Love the production on this song, but i cant stand the chick on the second verse.

Some of the shit's actually funny.
Oh well.

I dig crunk/hyphy shit, too, so... Yea.
I just can't stand when a motherfucker acts so cocky to a certain point where that person flaunts it in a music video like their music is great. Especially when people buy into that shit and play the shit out of it like they did that Soulja Boy shit. It's irritating to see someone who has no flow or lyrical substance try to show off how great he is. E-40, Keak Da Sneak, and Mac Dre were all hyphy rappers with at least SOME musical substance, especially E-40. I don't think calling it hyphy music is good enough to excuse cockiness and shit lyrics. Though I do agree with you on hyphy music, as a lot is dope, but this shit is just plain horrible. Put E-40 on that bitch and it would've been killer.

Do you think E40 has more substance than Mac Dre?

And does he have a better song than "It's so cold in the D"?

I never said E-40 had more substance than Mac Dre (though neither is very far part from each other in that department). The reason I pointed out E-40 is because that's what I grew up listening to. Down N Dirty was one of the first rap albums I ever heard...I've been listening to rap since I was born (my mom is a crazy rap listener, old school shit at least), and never really began to pick up albums and actually hear lyrics until I was 8, and E-40 & The Click is one of my throwbacks to the good ol' days.

Fuck the bay forum. You can't exactly tell me that Mac Dre sparked debate about social issues with his music.

Except for maybe ghostriding the whip.
