Aside from that, what he says is partially true. I actually have respect for this guy ever since the way he handled the Ice-T and Charles Hamilton situations.

Hip hop isn't dead, never was and never will be. The mainstream rap scene is what's being talked about as dead, with these sorry ass rappers being called greatest ever and being hyped up just to fail miserably. Listen to the radio and watch TV, look at how stupid the music being played is, that's what's dead when compared to the mainstream scene in the past. The rest of hip hop is as great as it's ever been, just isn't getting the chance it needs anymore because it's not what the majority (12 year old girls and people that like to act hard or party) wanted to hear. I can go on for days and love to discuss this and help people understand but I don't like typing :/ ha

The population is braindead for buying shit that supports these one hit wonders with their non-innovative garageband beats and the worst hooks and chorus's in history. There is the exception of some people in the mainstream tho.

Charles Hamilton and Soulja Boy are both on Interscope, and have dissed each other.

Agree Hip Hop aint dead just the mainstream. The underground is were it is. The mainstream is turning into techno to me anyways. And Lil Jon changed the game up the way it all sounds. South is were it is but The westcoast fixing to be back on top when Dr. Dre releases his new album he always does then Eminem drops his shit Dre stop working on his new album right now because he focused on Eminems shit. First 50 drops his new shit then Em then Dre. Once Em and Dre drops it will change the sound thats what I think anyways. And it's Shady/Aftermaths year this year The westcoast will be back
