Canvas is cheap. Especially if you build it yourself. Also that looks like a acrylic/wash. Barely 20 dollars. Soo your right.. 30 dollars is too cheap. Make it 50 and its a deal-e-o.

you sound like your an artist...hows about a lil friendly battle? oil, acrylic or even better how bout a large scale mural? You name it and the terms and im dwn!!!

Ha. That'd be sick. I'm a fan of using washed down acrylic. Basically because I'm broke and can't afford to buy lots. My proffesor hasn't gotten into oil yet, and all my highschool years I never onced tried using it. Was to busy using india ink and other means.. How large we speaking? I've built some large canvases before. Also you hand crafting your canvas? We restricting to style/media/subject matter?

I stretch canvas most of the time but when i get lazy i just buy it because its gessoed and ready to go. As far as style media and subject matter...na keep it open unless u want otherwise. Oil is the shit though u need to get into that WHOLE different effect.
