IF "YOU" ARE GOING TO MAKE A STRANGE MUSIC BANNER FOR THE STRANGE MUSIC FORUM THEN "YOU" SHOULD ADHERE TO THE BRAND STANDARDS THAT STRANGE MUSIC INC HAS ALREADY ESTABLISHED.

If "you" had a job to make a McDonald's banner and didn't use the same logotype... your ass would be fired.

It has to be constant.


like... you can't just type FEDEX and say "look at my sweet FEDEX logo"... they have a specific logotype and a pretty specific color scheme.

"you" is in quotes because i meant this is the standard for everybody in the whole world. I'm not bashing anyone's banner. I'm just saying that the logotype has to remain the same... since this IS pretty much Strange's Official forum.

From I've learned doing graphic work for awhile now, any company that I/You do work for the brand that has been given to them has to be consistent throughout anything you do for them...I took that as a granted I guess...

Yeah thats what I mean. The FEDEX logo isnt the FEDEX logo unless its the FEDEX logo... nahmean :chinese:

I totally agree. When I feel like it's missing something, I went the wrong direction on em. The red I got carried away with.

I didn't use any inner shadow. But I know exactly what you mean though. Good feedback man.

heres my #3...







This is definitely my fav of all mines

EDIT: after seeing it against the black background... i suppose I could make the canvas bigger so the whole logo shows and stuff... but i have to go to work now... i'll do more tomorrow or tonight when i get back
