this was like 2 months ago. It said expect your first issue in 4-6 weeks and it never came. I vote that the original poster must buy everyone that tried this a subscription for false advertising. Who's with me?

I've been getting free magazine subscriptions for years. They're all over the interwebs. I used to get Maxim, FHM, Blender, etc all for free from the interwebs. They give away subscriptions so their "circulation" numbers (not "subscription" numbers) are padded when they sell ad space.

Everyone wins.

You'll probably get your magazines eventually.... Maybe.

There are ZERO, count 'em, ZERO threads "like this". If "like this" you mean off topic, then yes. I'm disinclined to run around every thread and delete it when we're in a news wake. You guys all know how it works by now.

Concentrated effort goes into mixing and compiling like threads when they basically pertain to the same thing.

Outside of that, some things are somewhat relevant, and some things are completely irrelevant. This being completely irrelevant, but if it had been true, anyone signed up for what the OT thread pertained to would benefit.

Threads that bring up dirt-old topics, or rehash forum games like "WHATS YER FAVORITE NON TECH SONG" will get deleted. There's no point in bringing back up what can be found in two or three page loads.
