real rich....... poverty and lower/middle class dont mean "black men, women and chiildren"... they may be the most popular poor people, but far from the only ones.... i grew up poor and broke too. and im a whiteboy from a trailor park. hard work pays off. muthafuckas need to quit being lazy and placing blame on everyone else for their problems. my kids cant eat an excuse sandwich. and that last sentence is what makes me get "it" done everyday. what ever "it" is depends on the day and date.......

Caravan for Justice ... this is BIGGEST thing going this Thursday!

There will be caravan of cars and buses this Thursday, February 19, to lobby legislators in Sacramento on the issues of Oscar Grant and police killings (revising the "Police Bill of Rights" that shields their misconduct records from the public), repressive gang laws, reforming Three Strikes, and the San Francisco 8, former Black Panthers and associates being retried by Attorney General Jerry Brown for a 1971 police killing based on evidence extracted by torture in 1973.

Buses and cars will be leaving from
East Palo Alto (7:30 a.m.),
San Francisco Bayview, Third Street and Revere (8:00 a.m.),
San Francisco State University (8:00 a.m.),
Olivet Missionary Baptist Church, 807 27th at San Pable, Oakland (8:00 a.m.),
Del Norte BART station in Richmond (8:30 a.m.), and other rendezvous locations.
The caravan will arrive at the Capitol at 10:30 a.m. and participants will lobby until about 1:00 before returning, arriving back in the Bay Area around 4:00. More details as they become available.

A town hall meeting to build for the caravan will be held Tuesday 2/17 with The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland at 7:00 p.m.

This will be the first of a series of planned Caravans for Justice focusing on various aspects of the "justice" system.

See you all Thursday!

you underestimate the luxury you have as a White male in America. Whiteness allots you access to things poor black and brown people will probably never have in this country, better yet this portion of the earth. As an individual, maybe u have been through it. But as a whole...you are in a better position to achieve the ''American Dream".

Also the issue of people being murderered by police is a black/Brown thing. I don't see to many cops killing White kids with bullets to the head. This isn't a race thing, it's reality.
