This is the #1 problem of conspiracy people. It really is. I want you to focus on these Swahili threads I am making. I want you to then focus on how solid and concrete YOU BELIEVE that the cases are that the Gov't is (at least partially) behind 9/11, USS Cole, 93 WTC, and just about everything else that happens. Now.....put yourself in my shoes, and go read my thread about Swahili. There is not a man on this board that could stand toe to toe with me and argue that its a *bad* idea. Not one. BUT....BUT...does this mean that people are `brainwashed' for not going along with me? No. Does this mean people are arrogant, or closed-minded, or in fact, didn't even bother to LOOK INTO the things and links I posted? ...NO. It means that, for whatever reason, they do not accept what I am putting forth. And there is not much you can do about that.
Getting back to the problem part.....the only real problem is how you allow yourself to be manipulated and controlled. This is true. Look at Tom Cruise, for fuck's sake. You can aruge all day long about Psychology with him, and sure enough, he'd probably RAVAGE...DESTROY YOU with his knowledge. But at the end of the day, the guy is out in left field.
There is a difference between BULK KNOWLEDGE and INTELLIGENCE. Let me repeat that. There is a difference between BULK KNOWLEDGE and INTELLIGENCE!
The issue is not whether you KNOW THINGS, but how you can APPLY and SYNTHESIZE them.
These conspiracy websites can ONLY EXIST in Bulk. That is how they work. They can't just provide simple articles, and let you make up your own mind. They FORCE you to believe, after pages upon pages of their `research', that if you can read THEIR ARTICLES, and not IMMEDIATELY side with them, then there must be something wrong with YOU; that YOU must be the problem, and that YOU are not being open-minded enough.
This is the equivalent of little kids who can spell just about any word in the dictionary, but don't have a fuckin clue how to use everything. Their VOCABULARY might be tens of thousands of words, but their ACTIVE VOCABULARY is much lower.
You are being trained. That is what it all boils down to. These people take a mix of half truths, common sense, exaggerations, unprovable statements and other things like these, and mix them up and then combine them with indoctrination that the MSM is evil and they are of the enlightened......and its lights out. There's nothing left after that. You're one of them.
Education, Inner-City Crime, Safer Roads, Healthier Food in the Schools, Making Adoption Easier, Raising Firefighters Salaries.....none of this shit matters to you any more (and I don't want to hear this stuff about "Yes it does matter!". If you ain't talking about it and bringing it up, it effectively does not matter.) -- Now, all you do is think and talk and complain about 9/11, Jews, Halliburton, Drug Companies, and all this other INCONSEQUENTIAL BULLSHIT all day long. And THIS is EXACTLY what they WANT. They are USING YOU, at the expense of REAL PEOPLE with REAL PROBLEMS.
You WILL NOT stop war by yourself. 10,000 of you WILL NOT stop Anti-Abortion legislation. 1,000,000 Alex Jones readers WILL NOT STOP an invasion of a foreign country. 5,000,000 Socialists WILL NOT raise the federal minimum wage.
HOWEVER.....if you would FOCUS that energy, you COULD make schools safer. You COULD reduce drug prices for seniors. You COULD reduce penalties for drug offenders. You COULD do ALL of these things, but you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO when your plate is already full of CRAP.
And THIS is the reason, my friend, that I do not bother with conspiracy shit. You don't need to lecture me about such and such happenings--I already know. I get a good 2 hours of news in every single day--often more. Independent sites have nothing to offer me, unless they're talking about some shit that concerns me.
