Your boy Barry Bonds was in that era.
i think Alex Rodriguez will finish his career as the best player of the past 30 or 40 years..........ahead of Bonds

You can't teach hand and eye coordination, but you can inject steroids and add 30-50 more feet to your fly ball.
true, you cant teach it hand/eye......but steroids will sure sharpen it up...once again..increased bat speed means batter can wait back longer on the ball...that leads to picking up on speed and location better and that my friends is better hand eye

well........then i would take Griffey over Ichiro.................and i also think Bonds and ARod PRE-Steroids are better players.....jmo..............
You have no idea how long they were roiding.

And the topic came up about Ichrio being the greatest player in the last 20 years, and you brought up those others. Griffey was never mentioned.

^^^he didnt "break down" cuz of steroids. anyone can get injured, and griffey did it in what some would say the best possible way- giving it his all. 20 years of turning ur knees in the same way, running into outfield walls with ur legs outstretched, and running around the bases constantly will cause u to "break down."

Oh and i exaggerated a bit about Ichiro, Bonds is obviously one of the best players of all time, but Ichiro has got to be the most underrated player of all time. Hes got it all, and no one ever gives him enough dap for what hes done in his time in the MLB.

i beg to differ, cuz in pro sports your guilty until proven inncoent...there are steroids out there that dont make you bigger, just help your muscles recover, im not saying he was on steroids, but i want someone to prove to me he wasnt. why does he get a pass in an era wheer its presumed everyone was juicing??

Ichiro is great. I think he would be higher up in the "greatest" debate if he was in america longer, and didnt play the begining of his career in japan. His numbers would be higher, and maybe closer to Pete Rose like career numbers. But who's to know who would get hurt and whatever. Ichiro deff underated though, and I remember all the talk and video of him being able to hit for power when he first came over. Plus he's funny, lol.
