Why would Dre's mom see any money? You think MTV gives out royalty money every time a song is playing in the background of one of their shows? They'd be fucking broke...

Damn, man, you are funny. Had me laughing, for real. Why would I have to be a rapper to know about commercial copyright laws on a cable network such as MTV? I actually know that artists do not get paid when their music is playing in the background because MTV came to my house for the same show and I asked them that exact question. MTV only gives out royalty money when the music is retroactively (that means after the fact, in case you didn't know) added to the show on top of the video footage. In this particular case, the music was being played from a stereo at the time that the footage was taken. Since MTV did not actually endorse the playing of this music, they will not give out royalty money. At least that's what the MTV rep told me.

Will you for real sign me? I heard Sicctunes is about to blow... Ha.
