I've been taking the bus to work for two years now seeing I live downtown. The buses used to be almost empty except for peak hours for going to and leaving work. Now they are like 1/2 to 3/4s full almost all the time.

I haven't bought gas in two years since I sold my car. I just noticed yesterday that prices have gone over $4.00 in the Seattle area.

I'm seriously thinking about a Kawasaki Ninja 250R $3,500 MSRP but $5k after all taxes/fees, which is still less than a vespa. 60+ miles to the gallon. It'll get you going fine on the freeway, it'll go 100mph no problem. Vespas max out at 75mph and cost more, and look uglier.

shit i just paid $4.54 per gallon today. I saw some dumbass people paying $5.20 at another gas station.. i swear people like that are what allow other gas stations to set high ass prices and not give a fuck.
