RIGHT... But then again, we the people are not the Supreme Court, and we are going about it as if we are the prosecuting attorneys and judging him on that one lie alone vs. Bush's total collection of lies. Of couse if it was a regular civilian, that person would be in jail, but if you look at it JL, Shep is right on "our" level of this whole senario.
I find it amazing that the key issue in most exit polls last night was Moral Issues.....most people who voted for Bush were voting because his stance on Gay Marriges and Abortion....thats really hard to believe.
Are we THAT concerned about fags getting married? They're still going to walk down the street holding hands. Gay guys are still going to kiss each other in an elevator and joke about it to a straight man, who then inturn goes and pukes, ask Skatterman. Nobody cares about how haphazzardly this war on terror is being fought? But Nick, we haven't had a terror attack since 9/11. It should have never happened in the first place. The roadblocks were set in place...we let them right through the gates.
This is a great chance for John Ashcroft to continue infringing on some of our civil liberties though.
The beauty of the system is this JL...I don't have to accept shit. My guy lost, yes. I still have a voice and I can still advocate against the right until my guy is in office. You said you can't talk about shit if you didnt vote...well I voted....and I dont like the result. It's my right to bicker and complain for the next 4 years...or until this administration takes away that right.

My point was people were saying the gay marrige issue ment more to them on election day than the war on terror. And that's fucking stupid. If people really voted Bush over Kerry because of his stance on Gay Marriges, then we got our priorities fucked up. For the record...I'm opposed to gay marriges myself.
