some rap shit has gone str8 downhill. Anyone who trys to talk down on oldies are more then likely youngsters who think of "kriss kross" as oldies. some recommendations...

junior walker/"shotgun"
martha reeves/"no where to run"
zapp and roger/"more bounce"
(and of course) rick james/"mary jane"
otis redding/"sittin on the dock of the bay"

look, i grew up with oldies. My pops used to bump earth wind and fire all the muthafuckin time. it DID get annoying until i was no longer a youngster myself. Im not gonna talk shit about rap either but its possible to have more then one favorite genres of musica. I kicked it with nothin but OG nortenos who would clown my "easy-e" cd. I can see rap as bein my stress releaver, but my oldies are my "chillin" moods.

I LOVE THE FUNK, IT'S BEFORE MY TIME, I AM ONLY 21 YEARS OLD, BUT NOTHING BEATS GOOD HARMONY AND SOME BUMPIN ASS LIVE INSTRUMENTS. MUSIC IS MISSING GOOD HARMONY THESE DAYS.
