I still don't really think the south spans that high up, after actually LIVING there (in Ms) they wouldn't consider someone from NC or VA from the south, more east coast, b/c it's on the COAST. Kentucky, I agree with though, so I see why they would put NC, SC and VA in there, just doesn't seem right.
