my question is, if all these so called photographers can easily make 5,000-10,000 a day per shoot or whatever, how come ya'll not making that? my covers is so called lame, and I am nickle and dime'n.... but I make more money than you from graphics and photography, I gaurantee you that....... ya'll talk a nice game..... but when it comes down to it.... that's all it is, TALK....... wow you point & click pictures homey...... you want a cookie? any nice DSLR cam is gonna give you a nice pic..... I have one myself, and I point & click, the shit looks just as good as yours..... what have you accomplished?
and you can tell your frontin like a muthafucka cuz you like "can you imagine if I had the setup I described to qwasian"......
cuz QWASIAN got the cake in pocket right now in cash to buy that setup your speakin on...... if you so hardbody with the pics & photography and my shit is chump change? how come you don't have the money to get ya setup right?
a different nikon joint or higher level shit is not gonna make your pictures that much better... my d00d got the d300..... it's a nice cam & all, but the shit is not that phenomenal to run out & buy it up, the pictures don't really look any different...larger images is about all it offers.....alot of the features of the higher end camera's aren't picture clarity quality..... they are an assortment of things for shooting in different settings etc...U should definately be able to have top quality shots with the cam you already have.....
explain this to me about your photography..... what is better about it than point & click? then an edit? what have you done that makes your pictures amazing? what makes me want to look at them twice? nothing that I see.......i'm not hating on you, get ya money..... I seriously don't like your pictures.. they didn't stand out to me.... is that a crime? I don't even know you or who you are, I never spoke with you before, I just didn't think the pics was standing out to me.... the joints from other photographers on here I seen did stand out to me.....
I also have several hundred thousand pictures that I took and don't consider myself a photographer.... I just point & click the shit.....

because you said you can buy any setup you want.and we cant afford that.the setup i described would be well over 20 racks.what have i accomplished?well ive had work published in magazines.gotten laid.gotten free tattoos.had a lot of fun.and its far more than pushing a button so you need to get rid of that idea.and no you personally cant shoot like me so stop it already.fronting?no its real talk.i cant do anything more with my camera.i have one flash.it has to stay on my camera so it flashes from behind the camera.i dont have lights and i have a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm lens.i cant do wide angle shots or good portraits.yes a better camera does take better photos.why do you think hasselblads are $40,000?(Hasselblad unveiled its next masterpiece, the Hasselblad H3-D, a digital SLR camera to be offered in 22-megapixel and 39-megapixel trim. @ qwasian: Why not everybody can go out to get 5k - 10k shoots a day? Cause you need the set up to get a good as porfolio for labels, so its a long hustle to stack up 20 to 25 gz for that. Than you need a med. format camera cause most labels want there photos not digital they want them on film and a certain resulution ... its a lot of politics. And since there are some photographers charging 100 - 300 a regular shoot for independent artists, the jump is even higher cause there is no more real money, specially in hip hop.
And Colombo saying your stuff is chump change, not saying you dont have money, but compared to other shit. Like how much you get for a cover? 300 maximum? I got a deal with Interscope. I do one cover and get a minimum of $1000 ... sometimes even $2000 (depends on the project) no bullshit. You work all weekend for making a g. I work a couple hours. Thats why its chump change, work smart not hard.

Sounds like u got a real big head.... Full of hot air.... You do real good graphic work, but I have never seen a pic you have "point and shooted" that looked anything near Colombo, or anyone elses on here's pics. Instead of tryin to turn this thread into how much money you got, put your money where your mouth is, let's see some of this "non-photography"

same shit i was thinking, you can make $500-2000 off ALBUM covers not $50 a mixtape cover, why waste time with mixtapes? because there easier. same reason people use "point and shoot" and only get $100-300 a shoot its easier, you got out and do a shoot for $300 an hour no light setups or location permits you just shoot. when you do a mixtape all you do is copy exactly what everyone elses style is and do a fast cover for $50 why not spend more time and do an actual layout with foldout panels and seperated traycards and make 600% more profit? because its easier by just copyin a look and puttin out no effort, thats why you only get $50 a mixtape cause anyone and everyone does them
because people is frontin, they did like maybe one label job in they entire life, now all the sudden they claiming that all they do is label jobs, they are lying...... yes the IRS is aware of what I make, I pay more taxes than you make in a year, catch up fukkerz
