Gruden just hired Bill Callahan's son Brian as the QB coach. The circle of life is complete lol
Don't know much about Brian Callahan, just read he was Matthew Stafford's QB coach for the last 2 years, Stafford is still playing great despite his shit team, so I have hope he'll be good for Carr.
Apparently the Jets offered him the same job and he chose us, he also interviewed for some offensive coordinator vacancies and was a "highly sought after assistant" according to ESPN.

Huh? Jordy Nelson is a huge upgrade over Crab, especially for how cheap we got him.
Also been reading about how much of a locker room cancer Crab has been, players have even been "anonymously" interviewing with reporters bashing Crab and hoping they release him.
We got rid of a locker room cancer for an upgrade. Great deal to me.
Nelson led the NFL with receiving TD's just two years ago, had 1300, 1500, and 1300 yards 3 years in a row, last year wasn't great due to nagging injuries, but he's healthy now, if we get the 2013-2016 Nelson we get one of the best WR's in the NFL for about half the pay check as what he's worth.

We're also one of the teams that made Tyrann Mathieu an offer, who is currently the best DB on the market.
We made Bowman an offer to bring him back in, he's gonna take a day or two to test the market, but I read he'll give us the first chance to make an offer if another team offers him more.
There's talk that we're working on a trade with the Bengals to bring in Burfict too.
We also have the 10th pick in the draft and will be able to get one of the top defensive prospects at that spot.
As far as Nelson, that deal has been nothing but universal praise from everywhere. Crabtree's best season in his career is good for like Nelson's 5th best season lol even more reports coming out today that Crab would have been released regardless if we got Nelson or not. Numerous players are even liking the tweets from media about him being released because the locker room don't like the dude. We got an upgrade for cheaper and cut out a locker room cancer at the same time. Win/win on that one.
Our offense is looking nice. Beast Mode now has Doug Martin to back him up, who is a reliable vet. Gruden is talking about actually running Olawale too and we just signed FB Keith Smith, TE Derek Carrier and resigned Lee Smith for the power blocking scheme we're gonna run. Carr now has both weapons to throw to and a run game that should be able to open up his pass game and we actually have a capable offensive mind putting together the playbook.
Things are looking up, definitely not doom and gloom right now.
