BTW, about a dozen spins through this album and I love every song except Hello Walls, Kali Baby, Dancin with Myself, Dream of a King, and Stay Alive. It's interesting to me that while I appreciated all of his serious stuff on the other albums, but hated the party songs, that my tastes have flipped for this album. Stellar performance. I will actually be proud to say I'm a Kaliko fan to casual passersby.

"Hello Walls" is my personal favorite..

The production & concepts are unmatched by any other Kaliko album

I love the familiarity sprinkled in it too.. Makes it more recognizable

If this was in The Source I'd give it 4 1/2 Mics

Flippin' "Angel Baby" for "Kali Baby" was a bad look..

Overall.. It's stellar

He sampled the melody from the song "Sherry" by The Four Seasons. I'm not real sure what Angel Baby is, but the aforementioned song was the inspiration.

Overall this is pretty dope. beats are knocking like hell. I'm just not really a fan of the singing, but that's entirely my problem - not saying Kali isn't doing his thing and it's probably amazing to someone with a different (better) taste in music than me.

Dancing with myself, Spaz, Can't Be the Only One, Unstable are my favs. The more I listen to it, the more it grows on me, though.
One of the advantages of actually buying shit is if you don't like it on first listen you don't just delete it but give it another try. definitely worth it on this one!
