yeah, i dont know.

nah, he has an option to opt out, which means he couldve been a FA, but will instead play it out. He's already said his displeasure that he didnt recieve an extension, thats why theres rumors that he might get traded

its the same situation as Marion, opt-out year. I think its same deal too @ $17 mil
17 million 4 one year. he isn't going anywhere. baron's a baller and i don't want to see him go, but the man isn't stupid. give him a descent 3 year extension add a few pieces and lets roll. oh yeah, bring back monta. biedrins can be replaced by wright or in the draft. he descent, but monta is more of a priority.

^ i agree. mullin and the owner are both cheap asses. but it is a sticky situation, with barons age and injury past. dude should just take a pay cut god dammit. im just gonna enjoy this last season wih baron being a warrior and just hope for the best. its gonna be hard seeing him play on another team, but im gonna support him no matter where he plays.

as for today, im hoping the warriors make a move. and i mean a big move. i want a high profile vet that can help right now. ive been reading that mullins been working the phones, but i bet he aint gonna do shit. we cant win with our current roster especially in the west.

gimme marion, brand, rasheed etc someone thats proven plz. or move up in the draft somehow. come on mully!

Mullin has learned from past mistake signings: Foyle, Dun Jr., TMurphy, Fisher, etc that staying under the cap, and having freedom is kinda important in this game lol......and if Baron was 4 years younger, this wouldn't be an issue, BUT he's gonna be 30, so he's not getting any younger !! ha

^^^ we dont need artest. and i'm glad we didnt get jermaine oneal.

jackson is better than artest. jermaine oneal will probably get injured and is way overpaid.

we just need a strong power forward that can help beans and guard all the damn western pf's.

i'd take chris wilcox for cheap and wait on the best deal possible for the team.

mullin is a smart dude, he's gonna make it happen.

we aint gonna sign artest. lol

i'd like to get okafor from the bobcats tho... maybe nene but i like wilcox better than nene...

we need to use this trade exception so we have more money to spend on someone

lol @ jackson being better than artest.....warriors have got it tough right now
they are very similar players with similar stats. it doesnt make sense to have both. jackson had his best season and is going to continue to improve. he's a better 3 point shooter, he's a better passer/playmaker, and his handles are better.

he also has better post offense... he is slightly bigger.

According to Pete Vecsey of the New York Post. He reports that the Lakers, Spurs, and Mavericks are the teams that will be most interested in (Artest).

and no the warriors dont need artest. he wouldnt bring us a title, will want too much money and would set our franchise back 3-4 years. PASS.

slightly bigger is correct. he is an inch taller and has a longer wingspan.

getting artest is stupid. he is looking for a decently large contract.

you must not have watched this season; jackson has not hit a ceiling. he was our best player for a decent stretch of time.

this argument is over. theres no chance we will even make an attempt for artest. we are more likely to get tayshaun prince or boris diaw.
