I like bellineli, liked him at the draft, and have liked him since. im also italian so thats bonus points both ways. but dude wasnt ready yet and everyone on dudes nuts and has accomplished absolutely nothing in the nba. hopefully he gets some run this year and he should. but tearing up european leagues and having it automatically translate into the nba game is just funny to me.
do names like darko, skitzavilli, sarauncavicus, etc ring a bell, hell even mickeal pietrus. basically what they do in europe really has no effect on what they do in the nba. it could be a good indicator but its never 100% accurate. i wanna see him get 15-20 mins a game and see how he does in back to back games and when he has to guard a kobe bryant, igodola, joe johnson, etc. to judge his value. right now its a incomplete cus he barely got any play in the nba thus far.

^^^oh aight i see where youre comin from. yeah youre right, the NBA and Euro League is wayyy different. but Belinelli DID play in a few NBA games and he actually did pretty good. from what he did in the 2007 Summer League games and what he did during the season was enough to convince warriors fans that he is a GREAT player. but bottom line is...dude has skills....whether he is playing for the NBA or a Euro team...you cant complain about his shooting skills.
i kno its way too early... im talking about his euro career. he was insane.
and these are the reasons bukee player over him. bukee has strength to guard forwards. also nellie hated our bench last year. he ran our team into the ground.
he should have tried belinelli at point. he probably will try it this year. belinelli is a dope passer and playmaker. he handles the ball well and is an amazing shooter. his defense has improved, but he isnt a strong defender.
