Brand’s still going to the Clippers. But by getting everyone, including most of the posters here, to think he is seriously considering Philly and/or the Warriors means that he removes any possible suspicion about any collusion on his or Baron’s part.

Im sure that will go downhill now that he's a Warrior, since they get no love from the refs. Overall its just a bad signing, why would they bring in someone who's strength if getting to the free throw line and slowing down the game...thats exactly what Nellie doesnt want.

I'm sure the Warriors and Nellie thought about what Maggette would bring to the table before signing him. I'm sure Nellie can come up with some ideas about how to use him. Shit, they can make Maggette run up and down the court or use him to slow the game down. Nellie says that they play uptempo bc of the roster they have, he has no problems goin half court or slowin the game down if he has too. Still tho I have no idea how Maggette is going to pan out. I think they are over paying him, of course. I'm just hoping for the best.
