Of course it means shit. Then why keep records of everything? Then why even watch if you know noone else gonna beat the fucking Steelers/Colts/Patriots (heck even whole AFC) in a superbowl this decade? Shit yeah that's the past but people care about the past history. That's what makes sports franchises more appealing. Do people care about the Texans? Devil Rays? Latest NHL expansion teams? Maybe. But those teams are too new so they have no history.Lakers/Celtics have fuckin nice history. Look at the Bulls in the 90s man. That was history. Yankees? 100 years of history right there.

I mean all my teams were from childhood and it wasnt about picking a team it was just it happened on its own for whatever reason, whether u watched them, liked a player etc..
