Also, can you somehow record one of your fights and post it up on the sicc? that would be sweet.
This first video will show you how to effectively Sidestep:

You can see that I anticipated my opponent throwing a straight right hand by sidestepping (since he's throwing a right hand I double tap the joystick UP) making him miss and I hit him with a counter jab of my own, he immediately throws another straight right and I bob & weave it and land a hard counter. Note: when I bob & weaved I threw my punch WHILE my guy is bobbing & weaving, what this does it means you only bob & weave half way, so it looks like a subtle duck of my head. You don't need to wait for your guy to go all the way down, etc. In this example you can see he throws two punches and gets countered two times. This also works great against spammers online who keep throwing the same punch over and over.
The second video will show you how to include a simple Backstep while pounding away on your opponent:

You can see in this video I bob & weave a shot, land a counter, then throw a few punch combo and at 6 seconds of the video I take a backstep (double tap the joystick backwards) making him miss an uppercut which leaves him wide open for a counter (I land a counter jab, doesn't look like much but it's effective), then follow up by attacking him landing a couple more shots and then bounce out again. This is how I like to fight - make him miss make him pay, move in, land some shots, get out. This way your keeping your distance, being effective from the outside but at the same time being very aggressive when they miss. In this short video I land 9 clean punches and he lands 1 clean shot. If you can keep a 9-1 ratio best believe the fight wont last very long.
