Ok, I have the 2007 Deluxe version...does it really matter if I upgrade or not?

maybe, i think in the newer editions they upgrade it to catch new errors.

I thought you couldnt use them year to year, I know that you can write off the cost of the previous one the next year. Like this year I will be deducting the cost of TurboTax last year.

I did a sample W-2 with the 2007 version but I didnt file...of course it showed me what i would get back...im gonna just upgrade to be safe...i wouldnt be surprised if it said the same amount...

Same..but I think he means you cant use the same Turbo Tax edition for every year...meaning, you couldnt use Turbo Tax 2005 edition to file for 2006,2007,2008 tax returns and you have to upgrade every year?...I think he means that, but Im not sure..

Just got email confirmation my return was accepted, i'll get it either this friday or the following first friday of february

im kind of hoping that its the following friday. ill all of the sudden have like, 3g's if i wait to cash this last paycheck. i know that isnt shit but for honest pay to a person who is horrible at saving living paycheck to paycheck that shit will make it easy for me for a good month or two

No offense, but i really doubt you are getting that much back. There has to be something you arent doing right. Unless you have 6+ kids, you arent seeing nearly $13000 in returns making less than $250,000 in a year.
