Cards have the best O in the majors. Carpenter is the only legit starter they got right now, but Woodies starting to get hot. I still think theyre better than the Braves and Yanks though

sorry to bust your bubble homie, but the yankees lost their third game in a row today... to who you may ask? the gay ass angels... yankees are 6 games behind the cardinals...funny thing is they were only 2 games behind last week...

the braves are 12 games behind the cardinals.

dog i have NO clue how you came up with the conclusion that any of these 2 teams are the best in the mlb for 2004... unless you have the ability to take a glimpse into the future... even the sportscasters where saying the cardinals were the best this season... only chance for any of the two you mentioned being the best this season is if the cardinals made it to the world series and lost to one of those 2 teams.

best record means nothing....the cardinals may have gotten hot at the wrong time...all it takes is a hot streak at the right time i.e. angels '02 and marlins '03...

YOU DO REALIZE that chipper jones rafael furcal and marcus giles all missed nearly 2 months of a season. The braves have the best record since JULY. When they got all there peeps back. Yankees could of been one of the greatest teams ever if only they could stay healthy, I still think there gonna go to the championship

LMAO @ angels being gay, i mean they only have the best overall team batting average in the league at the moment, one of the best hitters in the game (VLADAMIR GUERRERO), a good strikeout pitcher and closer, they playing in one of the best divisions fighting the a's and the rangers for that wild card spot, i wouldn't be suprised if they did wint it, they got a squad, but i'm guessing you just dont like em, oh well, and yeah yankees lost like what 6 of they last 7? but who's still at the top of they league? that's all i gotta say, and i also think when playoff time comes, the braves would take out st. louis i bet even the giants would, fuck the cardinals

^^^Im thinkin Soaks a Giants fan, thats why theyre the 'gay ass angels' lol

I dont think the Braves could beat the Cards. The cards dont make errors and score like at least 5 every game. We'll see in the playoffs though...

Kcuf all you speakin bad on the Angels.
All of you still butt hurt from where they took SF in the World Series. Our pitchers mashed on the SF lineup.

Our bullpen is DEEP, and our hitters are DEEP...phase it.

fuck the angels :devious:

and i don't care how hard you think the angels beat em, that 16 point win from the giants in game 5 was way harder than any beating they ever took from the angels... that asswhoopin was so vicious that they shoulda rolled some of those points over to the next game :(

funny thing about that is the giants whooped another teams ass a few weeks ago scoring 16 points in that game also

Did they ever find the ball that Bonds hit in I think Game 4? The one when they showed an angle from the side and you could see Tim Salmon say "Holy Shit" when Bonds hit it, and in the replay you never see the ball land in the crowd. My theory is still that the ball went back in time and hit a t-rex, thus causing the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Cubs & G Men are both hot right now, Wild Card might come down to the wire
