bush wasn't he best running back on the team, he's not the best wr on the team and he wasn't even the best rookie on the team.

Best decoy I'll give you that 1.

Cold, Hard Football Fact: Young had a terrible season as a passer. His final passer rating of 66.7 was 30th in the league – worse than Brad Johnson, worse than Charlie Frye, worse than Joey Harrington. This alone should disqualify him from contention for any postseason honor, regardless of his wonderful running ability (552 yards, 6.7 YPA).

Cold, Hard Football Fact: The Tennessee offense was not very good. The Titans finished 16th in the NFL in scoring, which sounds decent until you consider their eight touchdowns on returns. They ranked 27th in yards (300.6), 26th in offensive TDs (28) and 31st in TD passes (13). Only the historically inept Raiders scored fewer TDs through the air.

Cold, Hard Football Fact: Tennessee’s six-game win streak would not have been so impressive without a historic performance by the Titans defense. Remember, it was the defense that scored three TDs in a 24-17 mid-December win over Jacksonville. The Tennessee offense that day accounted for just five first downs, 98 total yards and held the ball for 15 minutes and 38 seconds.

So who would you give it to?

I would give it to Maurice Jones-Drew. He scored a combined 16 TD's (by rushing, receiving, and kick off return) averaged over 5 yards a carrry (actually 5.7 yards), averaged over 9 yards a reception and had over 2,200 all purpose yards. All this while backing up Fred Taylor in Jacksonville. He had the highest per carry average in the NFL for running backs.

Like I mentioned in this thread earlier. The only reason Jones even got that many td's is because he was spelling Taylor after long runs. And to bring in his return td's is useless because then you can say Hester deserves it more.

Spelling Taylor after long runs? He had over 900 yards as a backup. So he was gaining yards himself. He averaged over 5 yards a carry. You act like Jones-Drew was just used in goal line situations. He had over 2,000 all purpose yards. Over 900 rushing and over 400 receiving. He scored on a 74 yard TD run and he returned a kick off for 93 yards. He had longer runs than Taylor did....come on now.

I would have given it to Colston.

He had a really good year...especially for a rookie WR.
I would have given it to him too if he didn't get hurt. He was having a monster year until he hurt his ankle.

I could be wrong...but he still played 14 games.

He had over 1000 yards receiving and 8 touchdowns. Rookie WR's normally don't play that well.

Jones-Drew didn't start. If you don't start...you're not gonna get rookie of the year.

Anthony Henry had 10 INT's his rookie year, but he didn't win ROY cause he was mainly playing the nickel.

Dude I had fred taylor in fantasy and I know of at least 4 of those touchdowns that came after Taylot got them to th 20 after good runs and they put jones in to give taylor a rest.

Take out return yards and Taylor has him beat in yards on offense!

And again his td's came when they took taylor out.

So offensive yards he is ok. Veterans ain doing what he;s doing because most vets that are starting rb's don't return kick.....too much of a risk. Run offensive #'s straight up and he doesn't deserve it.
