I haven't heard anyone's opinions on Ja's new album "R.U.L.E." Zero, I know you're a long time Rule fan... what'd you think?

I personally thought it was a pretty solid album. IMO, he is definately showing me that he has come back from that "Last Temptation" crap. "Blood In My Eye" had me listening again, but this album shows me that the Rule may be back to stay.

Oh for real!? I don't listen to Ja's shit anymore because I assume it's pop bullshit. Blood in my Eye was tight but he did an interview where he was like "I did my hardcore shit now I'm goin' back to the pop shit".

It's kind of good you mentioned that because now I'll check it out. Do you know a song I can dl??

That "New York" track off Ja's, sound good enuff to dl.

Em's "Toy soldiers" is a good track but don't really like that 80's hook....wished he would have reworked it better or something....I laugh almost every time that hook comes up. Good story line though.

There are some tracks on this album that do have that "pop" feel, but they aren't as bad as some of his past tracks, either. I'll name off what I like the best... but this is actually one of the cd's I have that I can actually listen to every song on the CD and like.

-New York ft. Fat Joe
-Life Goes On ft. Trick Daddy
-Bout My Business
-Last of the Mohicans
-Passion

And I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I actually liked more tracks off of "R.U.L.E." than I did off of "Encore". I went out and paid for Ja's album after I heard it, but after hearing Em's, I was glad I didn't run out and buy it and instead have a burned copy from a buddy of mine.
