Um... Is it just me or did Eminem either

A. Lose his fucking mind and turn into a Zappa influenced rapper to the point where he doesn't make any sense?

or

B. Just win a bet with Dr. Dre that he could sell a billion copies of an album that says close to nothing?

I'm not sure which but it sure makes my peepee go DOING DOING DOING.

To be straight up honest, I don't hate Encore near the amount that you all do I actually kind of dig that shit. It ain't close to Marshall Mathers and it ain't better than Eminem Show either, but at least he's trying to do something different. Yes, a lot of the songs aren't serious and he's constantly playing around, but hasn't he always done that shit? I really think that most people can't understand the simplicity of the music and tha same occuring themes he talks about, but thats what hes done since day one he just doesn't have anything to prove anymore. Hopefully this is like a Stankonia album him like that was to Outkast and this is only a stepping stone to better music ???? But because the music is layer enriched like most commercial music it just doesn't SOUND right to them, but the lyrics are still there as always.

I think that Puke song is the only one I semi-liked on the entire album...I was expecting so much more from the lyrical genius, but WTF happened? This new shit don't come close to anything he's put out in the past. I'm not feeling this album at all and am very dissapointed. I can't belive Em would put something out like this.

I'm pretty sure Eminem will be doing harder shit if Dj Green Lantern makes another "Invasion" mixtape.

after listen to most of the ENCORE album, some of the songs are OK... just OK..but still way better than ICP's last albums....atleast ENCORE was better than "Infinite", IMO.
Also, I wish his beef with Royce Da 5'9'' was squashed, cause another collab with him would've been dope for the album.
Compare the "RENEGADE" song Em did with Jay-Z to the "RENEGADE" original song Em did with Royce Da 5' 9''....Royce's version was way better than the one with Jay-Z.

I hated it when I first got it, but it really grows on you. It helps that I am a huge Em fan since the begining though. Honestly this isn't an Eminem album, it's a Slim Shady album. I only wish Em would have made a few more appearances if you know what I'm sayin, Slim Shady LP was a perfect example of Em having a good mix of Slim type songs and Em type songs...

Eminem knows how to make alot of $$ from the public..he doesn't fear change wether it be temporary or not...I can respect that.
What's that got to do with the fact that the album is just nonsense? I mean don't get me wrong I like the thing and like slither said it totally grows on you but still.

When I first heard it I wanted my money back and I felt like a sucker.

I liked it, just like I expected it to be. 5 or 6 great songs though. Like Toy Soldiers, Puke (my favorite), Big Weenie, Ass Like That (funny), Mockingbird (his daughter song, but still good), Love You More (bonus track). I don't know why so many people have disliked it. I think it is well worth the $14.

I reccomend it... whether you believe Em has gone soft for being the bigger man or not, it's still a good album under all the bs. I really have a lot of respect for him finally being mature, if you have kids, you'll feel me! This dumb beef shit puts Hailey and any other rapper affiliated with Shady/GUNIT/Aftermath's kids at risk not just for loosing a parent but their own lives too (point proven, what Ja says bout Hailey... that shit scares me as a mom for real)

Ja Rule: "Em, your mother's a crackhead, and Kim is a known slut, so what's Hailey gon' be when she grows up?!"

Yeah, I'd be scared and heated my damn self.

Um... Singing like a puppet about the Olsen twins, having a chorus with the words "peepee", and "Doing Doing Doing" in it, and having a song title that actually has the word "weenie" in it, is mature?
