my thoughts on goblin:
originally I was a bit down on the album. I wanted more progression and it wasn't there. I like the music, but I figured we'd get a more matured album from what bastard was.
after listening more, I've come to accept the album for what it is. I don't think it's really meant to be a follow up to bastard, but more of a companion to it. like if bastard was meant to be a double disc album and goblin is the second cd. makes sense that tyler would want to save the real follow up for his own label, rather than some one-off deal with xl.
the more I listen to goblin, the more I like it. still like bastard better though.
ps. am I the only one that wants a video for bitch suck dick?
