I think xx was used as an example of who's on XL Recordings, who actually payed for it.
Tyler landed a cover on Sneeze Magazine (never heard of it) and is allegedly getting a cover for Billboard. Not sure if it's going to be OF or just him.
So David Airaudi is their manager, he works for Interscope, which explains how they got that spot during a Dr. Dre MTV special. That, with their publicist being GZA's DJ makes them blowing up seemingly miraculously actually make complete sense.
Aside from interviews and overly analytical breakdowns(which = TL;DR usually) these write ups are starting to get repetitive and I usually just skim them. This touched on the business aspect of them tho(it is billboard after all) so that was cool.
