@doom

what i remember bout "c-tru" is that his ass would post up on the sidelines while we squabbed with muthafuckas at the transit plaza back in the day....thats all he could do though since he wasnt really down with anyone from the side...but once he went back to nice lil pg he would be perpin like he crip wit his lil homie from wack pack productions, playa "my azz got" took, another pg crip claimer....

and im sorry but to have c-tru reppin the central coast in rap is embarrasing on 2 fronts....he a off brand busta and he tries too damn hard to sound black which makes it worse....

if you think it sounds like hate, it aint got nada to do with him tryin to be a rapper...your a lil too open minded...its like you dont care who reppin the montebay, like if some sucka came out the backways with a vanilla ice type album you would be droppin props down to em....

i dunno bout you but i got much luv for my town and my area and so the last thing id want is some weenie to represent me and my folks, my city and make us all look like queefs...

lyrically the worst shit out the 831 in recent memory is oceanside lame and the battlefield comp which was horrible in every way possible

Again, you have a history with them that Gemini and I don't know about. My whole point is that the way you came into this topic makes us look bad, maybe that was the idea though. All we see is someone trying to do what we're doing; release good music, make money and represent our area. Everyone isn't going to like my cd or his. etc.
You have your opinions and thoughts about him and you're entitled to them. I understand what you're saying about his first cd, this one shows a lot of improvement plus like I said, I'm on it. Look at the features in Gemini's first post.

My opinion is, not everyone is a gangster rapper and it's good to have different styles and production. Everyone in the 831 isn't bangin' or rapping with the same style and that's a good thing. I think CTru has his own thing going on and I thought the Battlefield comp was cool (again, my opinion).

I represent my area proudly, in fact I've done it nation wide and though you probably haven't heard my cd, you can tell where I'm from with the first track. No one person can represent everything going on in the Central Coast though, we got a lot of different things happening and a lot of different points of view (obviously).
Regardless, this upcoming cd is dope and worth the money.
