Most Americans are money-hungry capitalists. There will be no suicide bombings in America. No financial gain in suicide. I thought so at 5pm PST when my mother called to let me know PA was Obama. At 6:30 when they announce OH that clinched it, as long as it stays this way, FL won't even be a factor.

once again, that's one of our biggest problems as a species, and this relates to the thread about the tragedy of the commons - everybody is too obsessed with their own little insignificant existence and is unable to grasp the bigger picture

we might have evolved big brains, but we have not evolved the ability to use them properly
