You are crazy if you think this obama is overly involved in buisness afairs. If he repo'd BP tossed everyone that works there whose income is over 500,000 in jail, and distributed all the siezed money by pasenger pigeons to the families of those impacted, then you might have a case.

There is a lot more he could do from his position, if he wanted to... If he would of said "We should organize engineers to help resolve this problem right now" from the beginning... or when things started to get worse, then it would have given him more credibility... Instead, he has passed off the reigns to the company who caused the disaster with the cleanup, and the investigation...

BP has begun paying about $360 million to cover the costs.

This is NOT the cost of the foreign aid, that $360mm is ONLY for the sand barrier obama ordered to be built.

Now back to this unknown figure, their OFFER to the "USA and BP" would of meant what? we would of been responsible for the cost of that aid - which would of meant what? fining BP even more? which would of meant what? gas prices rising so WE can pay an even bigger fine ?
