Just about every professional sports team you can think of offers special packages like this. Sorry to burst your bubble.
49er fans are in the beginning stages of what Raider fans have been for the better part of two decades, living off the greatness of the past...except that 49er fans are actually there to see it. lol
But lets all face the facts...both teams suck right now. We'll just have to see who's better on October 8th...and I'll be there...garlic fries in hand. Laughing when all the poor Raider fans have to take that 3 hour drive through traffic with the LOSS on their minds.

Broncos don't do it. I know for sure Yankees, RedSox, Cardinals, etc...don't do it.
It is a general practice of teams that cannot sell out to do this. IE: The Rockies do this all the time, The nuggets have done this for years, but have scaled back the past 2 years.
So if your team is doing this it is because pre-sales are not very good and this is one way of generating a littel bit of revenue.

Good for you! And for the record I won't be switchin' teams if Brooks gets dumped. They gave some of my favorite players a chance to continue their careers.... Ronnie Lott, Jerry Rice, Warren Sapp and now Aaron Brooks when the critics thought they were done. So yeah.... I'll be supporting the Raiders and sporting the Silver and Black!

Right on for keepin' it real man. The Niners are giving out free weiners to keep selling out. I've never seen the Niners selling ticket and weiner packages on T.V. until last season. This is true, but I believe Fatal already explained why the Niner games weren't selling out unless they made deals like the one mentioned. Don't get me wrong, I like nothing more than to bring Niner fans down, but I'm a realist. The reason they weren't selling is because York was a cheap bastard. Now that he's willing to spend some change I don't think they'll have to offer those deals. Our games don't sell out because we have bandwagon fans who don't bother supporting the team at games.
I've already explained why Niner fans weren't showing up to games and why they left early. It was to prove a point. York still hasn't spent money the way he should, but he's showing progress and the will to do so now that he realized people will stop attending in protest. Don't you homos read the newspapers and shit?
And BTW, the Raiders have blackouts because their owner punishes it's fanbase if they don't sell out. I doubt the Niners would have blackouts if they didn't completely sell out.

I was like that ever since I was a little kid. I liked Seattle back in the day when they had Steve Largent, then I liked the Dolphins for a year when Marino was connecting with the Mark brothers (Clayton and Duper). I liked the 49ers when Steve Young (my favorite QB of all time) took over for Joe. Then I stopped liking the Niners because they weren't as loyal to their players as their players were to them. I remember they dogged Merton Hanks. He accepted a cut in pay to stay with the team and then after June 1st they still cut him. Why didn't they release him earlier so he could of had a chance to join his new team when the mini camps started? Why they release Jerry Rice? Ronnie Lott? These players made the 49ers you dumbasses and the 49ers let them go. These weren't money hungry players. They were as loyal as they come. But still got let go.

Them Raider fans probably could care less if I am calling myself a fan of the Raiders because of Brooks. For some people it's not that serious.... People have lives outside of rooting for their favorite teams and players. I think they call it "maturity".... Aint nothing wrong with being loyal to your team. But like I said before... I am loyal/faithful to my wife and kid. I'll be rootin' for the Raiders like I said. If I am not considered a fan by yours or anybody else's standard... fuck y'all then!
