maybe back in the 70s-80s. Special teams is WAY to important to just "put sum1 back there".....you see teams drafting RETURN players rediculously high now a days (ted ginn jr to miami, josh cribbs to cleveland)

every coach (atleast good coach) will say special teams is EXACTLY 1/3 of the game.....get beat on special teams weekly and your going to lose your season...dont sleep on it

I think this game against the bears is really gonna be more of a barometer of whut tha season is gonna be like. If the Defense can play well against a team learning a new system without very many playmakers thats a good sign cuz the past few years they havent even been able to do that
