**Oakland Raiders 2010 offseason Thread**

I'm really excited for our defense this year
we stopped the run and got after the QB all day
our secondary was something like number 7 last year... and this year we're gonna let Nnamdi loose on both sides... so we should be even better back there
I'm tellin you.... top 10 D in the league... top 5 within a couple years
and I noticed in the last 10 seconds we went to prevent (which is what you're supposed to do in the last 10 seconds) but Papa mentioned that Cable said he hates using prevent... hopefully we only use that shit when we need to... because in the past we've used that shit 2-3 minutes left in the game... and it killed us and caused us to lose close games

I am never too concerned with the outcome of preseason games. I liked the looks on offense. Mainly the formations and play calling. Defensively we are going to be a tough unit to deal with if we stay healthy. They had a couple shots of McClain next to Howard and McClain looks like a monster. He is exactly what the doctor ordered in the middle. Our defense can really be special this year. I am sure Hue is keeping it real vanilla for preseason too. It should be an exciting year, the first time in seven for sure.
im glad the bay represented tonight! I could care less about the scenarios or what string on the depth chart did what. EVERY player on the field gets a pay check. It was a football game.
Hopefully the raiders are competitive in the AFC this year. I hate the term "rebuilding year" but hey, I love bay area success!
Although I am a niner fan I do not in any way hate on the raiders. never have. They are my #2 team in the league 3rd being Pittsburgh cause my brother was born there and my son loves them.
