^^ Now that's the kind of stuff I'm looking for. You're thinking exactly like I am. Not only are DVD prices coming down, but DVD DL prices are coming down too, so could also fit a lot of bonus footage. Slapping a 15 minute set in the middle of the show could get boring, but leaving it as a bonus could be very rewarding for that artist's fans.

Most of this is going to be about trust. I ain't about to pay some artist to do an interview or record their show, so I can go make the equivalent of BELOW minimum wage. At the same time, they need to understand that there ISN'T going to be any back-end money for them, because prices WILL BE kept low. Very hard sell to make. And if it doesn't work, I might as well not even get started.

It takes something great to get me to but NE thing, but I would buy this in a quick second, people know that a profit needs to be made so sellin it at $10 -$15 at first would have to be done (if it included a NW mixtape bundled in; $19.99) . If NW artists were made a deal in which they would receive a percentage of money for sellin it at their shows, that would be great. Promoters like Seaspot could hand out flyers for it. If we could find a way to get more people involved that would be great, from what I hear NW people would love to be involved at helpin their own cause. But a lot of my ideas would require money and like DS said, this aint for those tryin to get rich immediately.

Funny you would bring up Mixtapes, because that is my other secret weapon project. A Mixtape bundled in would definitely be a good idea, but $10 for both would sound better to me. Once you hit 2 digits, people start giving you the craziest looks, like "This shit BETTER be worth it!"

I've got a lot of ideas, and most of them are in fact pyramid scheme-ish--the artist would buy units from me for cheap and sell high. It's the only good way, IMO. Thats why I'm so convinced that ALL the NW must be included. Imagine sending a shipment of mixtapes to Eastern Washington, and there's only 1 Spokane Artist on there...I just don't see it working. We gotta push everything from all angles.
