Its all love my friend...you are speaking your mind and what you feel is right, the same that I am doing. If the NW does get large, then ill eat crow...ill admit that i was wrong. However, I just dont see it. Im an outsider with an insiders point of view...

With all that said, some people act are acting as if im throwing bad voodoo their way or "hatin", when that is clearly NOT the case. I support GOOD music, no matter WHERE its from. IMO, the NW does have alot to offer, but so does every other city in every state in the US...same shit different area. That is NOT ot say that there are those that have a GIFT...and every region does.

Get that money, people....but stop puttin so much on your area and focus on YOUR talent...the rest will follow.

But on the real, there is too much diversity in this region to blow up as a whole. Our sound is definitely not united, and that’s what this A & R’s look for. But I really feel that the Northwest can be independent tycoons in the game, kind of like the bay back in the day. I also think this is the toughest region to blow up in compare to others, so it’s going to take a lot work, money and networking. I also think we don’t fuck with each other enough, we don’t have to do tracks with each other and shit .But we can definitely do a tour or something. Everyone says they are putting the region on the map, but at the end of the day it’s really benefiting them and no one else. I mean let’s say you have a relationship with an A& R you’re not going to tell them about other MC’s, mabey your homeboys.

I could go on all day with you about this bullshit you talking but what would be the point? How is what you're doing helping at all? Last time I checked, negativity never helped anyone. And I hope you are not from here with that, cuz I would think you would want to represent and encourage yours.
And for the records, everything that plays on the radio isn't successful, sometimes it is just paid for and at the end of the day there is a red number at the end of the artists income.
For anyone out there from the NW that is actually eating off this music game (meaning paying your bills and not paying to rap) keep doing your thang. The recognition is coming. I seen BG, and Cash Money at least 2 years before they finally blew up and we are just now starting to get seen like when I started seeing them.

LOL...as i said, now for the 3RD time, im being REAL, HONEST, living in REALITY. Did i ever say i DONT want the NW to blow? NO. I said it WONT blow. Dont take my shit out of context.

I am FROM Seattle, and i have spent 22 of my 29 years here and have helped with putting out an album along with promotion for many others.

The fact that people just dont get it is staggering. Oh well, whatever. Good luck to all.

artists from here gotta start networking(as has been said countless times in this forum), gettin to know eachother, moving from spot to spot around the NW, meeting everybody and their momma....
And if you want one sound, theres gotta one or two labels or a click with the strongest muthafuckas from out here....and help from the smaller guys...and just gotta be out doing this shit...a strong crew of producers....

Yea I was told by a 206 kat thats theres alot of haters out there in 206 just as there is in Portland but P.O show love we are a music town niggaz bleed our hearts into this music shit..we not stoping until we blow Ima make sure of that
