I'm from Modesto and I love it out here fuck what everybody say... yeah I know the ins and outs of every little town surrounding Modesto too...
regardless if it's fields and cows and orchards... thats money tho man... familys are ballin out here off of Dairys, Almonds, Corn, etc... Modesto is cool as fuck to me.. its gettin more and more diverse.. you can find every kind of person and the nightlife downtown has been steadily increasin and we been gettin hella rap shows out here...
I go the bay, Ive been to LA and vegas recently and represented modesto completely to the point of rockin a 209 hat in LA and Vegas and people had love.. when I go to Vallejo or San Jo or Frisco i always say where Im from and 9 times outta 10 its like "oh yeah I got family in modesto, or my folks from Stockton"
as far as NorCal vs. SoCal I cant call it I spent most my life right here in the 209 and some in the bay area.. of coarse I'm biased to Northern Cali its my home... I consider Modesto northern Cali but central valley.... I guess I would say fresno is the center anything north is north and anything south is south... but Bakersfield to Sac is the valley...
I feel Big Chill tho and love the fact that someone else is proud to be from Modesto.. I was feelin that song im from modesto too shit is so true all these fuckin bandwagoners out here... anyway I ain't no super thug or hyphy boy just a regular ass dude who works and parties and loves hip hop.... I love all of Cali tho... all you should too....... I just dont like when people come out here to Modesto from the bay or somewhere else and think they better than us or something... but anyway real respect real thats why I feel comfortable almost anywhere.....
