I just moved here to the bay about 6 years ago but back then I dont remember anybody saying anything about North oakland. Now it seems like most people on Myspace from Oakland are claiming the North now. Even new rappers comming out. WTF? Did they just extend oakland into south berkeley because I remember nobody used to say shit about north oakland. Not even mention it on CD's. It was all about West and East Oakland.

cuz i been in the town my whole life minus a couple years and i didnt really know where exactly THE NORTH was until middle school.. i knew there was a north oakland but me bein in the east daily and havin fam in the west i knew all abou tthose 2 sides of the town
