about having to be in prison to be a true norteno or a scrap is not totally true. Veteranos dont necessarily look down on a norteno or scrap that hasnt been to prision, if they put in work and dont always let their mouth write checks that their fist couldnt cash. ON the other hand if you do get locked up in a pen you just cant kick it with veteranos just cuz you got a the same tatoo as them. that goes for both sides. Once your in there you gotta show them that your down.

There are NO norteno hoods in LA. If you believe that there are you gotta be smokin crack to think that the sureno gang capitol of the world is just gonna let their worst enemies move in. There are nortenos that come down here, as there are surenos that go up north from LA. A few days ago I saw NORTE X4 hit up on the subway in LA. So there are nortenos that visit & live in LA but as far as having clicks down here? Come on
There aren't any ene hoods down there but my homeboy lived in LA and that he was in some gang I dont remember which one and I cant ask him cuz he died like 2 years ago in a crash. But he told me that they are not nortenos but that they welcome nortenos in there sets and that enes dont switch to their set they merly coexist. I really wish I knew the name of the set. Like I posted earlier a big reason why there are no ene sets in the south or a large number of enes moving down south is that there are no jobs over there. and many scraps that move up north and not necessarily the border brothers are coming here for jobs.
i'll tell you one thing, there are way too many scraps down in santa cruz. i hate that shit, everytime i try and go to the boardwalk down there, they are all over and most of the time i take my nephews so i don't say shit, but most of em are soft ass little fags it is just that they are like 10 deep everytime. some shit will go down there one day, i can feel it.
What sureno would want to end up in Monterey county or Santa Clara county, if they didn't separate them. The fact is if there was a norteno or nortenos of any number going into LA, SD, OC county they would not allow them to be in the same room as surenos. Its a risk 1. to the inmates health. 2. Against the fact that the government is responsible for you while your in their care and you can file lawsuits against them if they put you into a hazardous environment after you specifically tell them that your a member of the opposite gang. here they homeboys go to the yard and when they come off the scraps come out they have different units different meal times. So I don't think that would be much of an issue.

my home boy did get locked up in la county but he didnt have to tell him he was ene they knew so what they did was put him in solitary w/o being in the dark and all that shit he was used to the solitary being that were both from fresno county and over here the county is run by mutts. they have a separate tank for the nortenos and the scraps. I met a couple of homeboys from the bay when they got locked up in fresno county jail they didnt know what was up over here so they didnt tell the sheriffs they were ene and got into shit in general population. they put them in the tank with us. fools from reedley parlier selma sanger mendota fresno kingsburg dinuba. still plenty of us here just that we go to separate tank. we dont get scared of putting shit down in our county and mutts hate us just as much as scrapas and if you are really down wheter ene mutt or scrapa. you would put your shit on the line and worry about the consequences later.
