the other older neighborhoods over there didn't really have tooo many blacks frum wut i kno… and thats a funny area too becuz NOW its nice bcuz of gentrification… but most of those areas used to be where the "help" lived… hispanics and blacks…

Aint that the truth. My pops side of the family is all from Venice, the old varrio of SM, and farther east into West Adams and shit...Shit is night and day from how it was even in the early 2000s...sad in a way that the character of the areas is being erased. I dont like that shit. but V13 and the sholines aren't going anywhere...
