I see what you're saying now. You're right I misunderstood your point. I don't entirely agree, but...my view is influenced by the fact that I haven't suffered any major losses that were gang-related...and I agree that it's pretty difficult for a person to maintain compassion for people who have remorselessly victimized him or his loved ones.
