Stupid media hype. The NFC is actually just as strong, if not stronger than the AFC at this point. Just look at the battle records. I remember seeing some stats and the AFC only had a couple game advantage, and that was before the Colts and Pats played. The AFC isn't as dominant as some think. If you want me to whip out the stats and facts let me know. :knockout:

^its not that, its the fact that you have to be GREAT to make it in the afc, where you can have a losing record and still make the playoffs in the nfc. teams make the playoffs there going 8-8 or even 7-9.

the NFC is getting better but theyre top contenders dont compare to the AFCs top contenders which is why the nfc has only won 2 superbowls in the last 10 years and one of those by a yard(fucking kevin dyson) The NFC has a couple teams with strong records this year but thats about it. Now lets see some stats
Anyway back to the Chargers, I think Ted Cottrell is blowin it, We rarely blitz DBs, we rush only 4 defenders most of the time(its not working bring 5 men or even 6) we are getting no penetration bring only our 3 linemen and either merriman or phillips everytime, bring merriman on one side and mcree or hart on the other and see if the qb doesnt get sacked or throw a pick, Rivers is starting to come around, just needs to stop staring down his WRs(still getting used to new set or WRs in Davis, Nanee and Chambers who werent here last season or even the offseason), and we gotta keep feeding LT the ball!!(at least he wont be worn out towards the playoffs)

actually defy it seems like youre trying to justify your team being in last place by saying that its what everyone thought, shit it doesnt make it any better.....
youre right about the chargers were "supposed" to be great, but shit it is what it is....as sad as it seems were 5-5 in first place and we'll see what happens..

I'm not tryin to justify them being in last place.....but why try to bring that shit up when it has nothing to do with the conversation? we talking about the chargers here and they won't play the raiders again until the final week of the season, so it shouldn't even be an issue and the team shouldn't even be brought up....that was all I was trying to insinuate
