yea there was never no intention to release the album in spring of this year originally it was summer '09 then pushed back to december 22, 2009 and now it's pushed back til 2010. a lotta the songs off bullets ain't got no name vol. 3 was supposed to be on the album but he decided to put em out. but right now somethin big could go down that'll definitely boost his career in a major way but that's all i can say about that
like i said before only thing that can save all this new hot talent on the west is DETOX plain and fuckin simple. if dre uses nipsey, jay rock, glasses, crooked etc. like he used xzibit, knoc'tunral, kokane, hittman on 2001 then yea these dudes would all hit another level of exposure... fuck mixtapes and being on worldstar every week that dont sell records or make these labels put your shit out being on a big ass mutha fuckin record would.
fuck detox, that shit is a joke to most people on the west.
and it shoulda came out a good half decade ago.

dont no one need dre. i hate hearing people say that shit. i mean i dont wanna look like im biting the hand that fed the west or anything but dre aint done shit but weightlift and talk about the detox and put out a few mediocre ass beats and make a bud light commercial or some shit for the last decade. oh and he helped game out, but games like the west coast kanye, as is.
the west will save itself....fuck the detox..that shit has a high chance of sucking anyway.....interscope hasnt really been on the dope side and thats why theyve been pushigng back projects, but thats just imo. dre knows aint no one tryna hear that shit right now and thats why it hasnt came out. the west will be fine, its the music industry thats in trouble, not the artists
and most people i know didnt even like chronic 2001....that shit got one of the most hilarious reviews in murder dogs i have EVER READ...they had some white chick who was into black guys and rap music review it...shit was so comedy..she was like "shit, a bitch cant even get broke off right to this cd" lololol

i think chronic 2001 was probably a financial success as far as sales but quality wise it was a piece of shit in comparison to the original chronic...someone gave it to me and i gave it to someone else..didnt even want it....the only thing dre has done that was even slightly memorable within the last decade was the beat for rakim/truth hurts so seductive but with that said i wasnt big on game so i paid lil attn to all of that
